A Girl and Her Catby alanfreedComment: Love the angle and DOF. Having both of their eyes on a diagonal makes for a very interesting composition. Excellent color as well. Her face looks a little plasticky to me. |

Contemplativeby kashiComment: I love the dramatic lighting. It creates a perfect mood for his expression. Well done getting a catchlight into his left eye. I think the highlights are too hot, though. 7 from me. |

Straight Onby rwouthuisComment: Love the DOF and your skin tones look perfect. THe centered composition works really well here, IMO. It suits his level gaze. 7 from me. |

MP3 Happyby kosmikkreeperComment: Very cute and emotive. Nicely lit. The tilt is a bit extreme for my taste. 7 from me. |

Colour in Shadowby mocabelaComment: Very nice lighting. I love the shadows. The way her glasses are tilted has the frame cut right through the eye. Her eyes are beautiful. It is a shames that the glasses obscure them. |

The Guysby jenesisComment: Cool angle and great smiles. I love how close their faces are, and the vertical composition really enhances the closeness. I would have cropped a little off the bottom, so that the little boy's hand is not so obviously cut off. If the light would have allowed it, stopping down would have allowed for a little more DOF so that Dad's beard was more in focus. Very cute! 8 from me. |

Marissaby dsa157Comment: Very nice color and tones in your setting. Great use of windowlight for a 'studio' portrait. I love contrast of the little girl in the big chair. And her arms around her knees is perfect for the feeling of the shot. A minor nitpick - it would be better with a shirt that blends into the colors of the wall and florr and chair. The cool purple sleeves stand out against all the warm tones. 7 from me. |

Blue Eyesby shankswareComment: Beuatiful blue eyes. The skin is a little too soft for my taste, but that is a personal preference. I think I would prefer it short lit (with the main light on the side of the face away from the camera). I like the composition, although I might have left a little more room below her, showing a little more of her shoulders. Very nicely done and a lovely model. |

Into The Mistby Little KingComment: Very *er* suggestive crop and light placement. If that is what you were going for, you definitely acheived it. I like the lines and the composition very much. |

Future Male Modelby espy2Comment: Great eye contact and 'model stare' and an adorable little boy. I think it would have been better with more room below him, showing a little more of his shoulders. The one finger looks a little disembodied without seeing more of his hand. Very nice lighting. |
