Last of the Leavesby twm122Comment: Very cute! Nice DOF with the leaves in the background. I love the backlit, curly hair. It is perfect. I wonder if you could have not used your flash here. I think it would make a world of difference if you had found a spot with nice natural light. The flash lighting is very flat and doesn't do his cute face justice. |

Look Back Without Angerby unicumComment: I think this was a 'compositional' challenge, and this is a great unconventional compostion. The composition totally adds strength to the story being told by her gaze and pose (and the title). I really like this. |

Tubby Time!by mimsydotesComment: Although I can see that you increased the contrast to create this 'high-key' look, the light itself is actually pretty flat. On camera flash is really tough to use and get good results with for portraits. I know that bathrooms can be difficult for window lighting, but natural light would have really imroved this image. I love his expression and the angle is nice and whimsical for this shot. I think it would be better without his hands cut off. You have a really cute little one, here. |

Roses are Red.....by jrtoddComment: I think the angle is so high on this shot that it is almost dizzying. Stepping back a little (or crounching on the stairs or whatever) would have allowed her to look up without looking like she is about to fall backwards down the stairs. Very nice lighting and I like your b/w conversion. |

The Glanceby debitiptonComment: Beautiful lighting and bokeh in this shot. I like his expression. It really makes you wonder what he is looking at and thinking. This is a wonderful portrait. 7 from me. |

Rock Pigeonby yankoComment: Amazing detail and textures. Awesome DOF with a perfectly toned background behind him. I would have liked a little more negatvie space to the left of him, but that is just a personal preference. This is a great shot. |

Annby Vapor63Comment: I like her head tilted up and the angle, but I wish her eyes weren't looking up quite so much. She has pretty brown eyes and there is too much of the whites with the way she is looking. I like all the diagonal leading lines. Even the bench line doesn't bother me too much, although it is a good thing to watch out for things cutting through heads. Your color and skin tone is very nice. The whites of her blouse look a little hot on my monitor. Very nice shot. |

Flower Girlby jaxedComment: Very pretty. Nice job finding good light. Whatever was bouncing light back up into her face camera right was perfect. I realize that they are important in the context of the wedding, but the roses held so close under her chin distract from her beautiful face and seem too bright for the scene and too big relative to her face. 7 from me. |
