Feeling Proudby RgarciaComment: I think a little more contrast in the midtones would really make this pop. Very nice detail and sharpness. |

Got Milk?by piaffe529Comment: This looks either out of focus or like the shutter speed was too low and you got some bad camera shake. I do like the crop, how her hair really frames her face. The lighting is nice and soft and directional, too. Too bad about the blur. 5 form me. |

Madison - Christmas Day - 11 months, 16 daysby Baron152Comment: I personally would consider cropping off the top on this image, right into her head (probably just leaving the bangs and the very edge of the hairline. It has the benefits of eliminating the distracting bright windows at the top, as well as the pigtail rubber bands. It also moves her beautiful eyes up higher in the frame. Your light source seems either a little too small or too far away. The shadows under her nose and chin are too harsh and well-defined. THe light is posistioned very well, though, coming in from the side and a little above. Very nice skin tones and wonderful blue eyes. What a cutie! |

Aloneby wisieComment: Nice exposure and a cool scene with the footprints. I think maybe I would have framed it so that the figure and the island did not overlap. Although all the detail is definitely there, the head and shoulders intersecting with the island make the person a little harder to see and figure out. THe colors in your sky and ocean are very nice. |

i am a speck in the universeby jrjrComment: The figure really makes this image for me. It gives a real sense of the size and vastness of the scene. I think the reds are a little overdone here. |

Dee - Dec. 2006by MWittComment: Very pretty. I wish there was a catchlight in the shadowed eye. I think that would help keep that eye from looking so flat and dead. Other than that small nitpick, this is very nicely lit. |

Icy Coldby annependletonComment: A beautiful portrait. Her eyes are wonderful and, for me, the focal point of the image. Nice catchlights. I think the scarf works very nicely, and adds leading lines to her face. The line of the open zipper I feel is a little disctracting and competes with the subject for my attention. I like your black and white conversion. It can be hard to do a nice conversion of a fair-skinned person in fairly flat outdoor light, and this is really nicelt done. |

My life revolves around the Pacifierby JenniferDavidGAComment: I understand all about the pacifier! A very nice shot of this adorable little one. Although she is turned into the shade and mostly side-lit, you got catchlights in her eyes which really helps them sparkle. COmpositionally, she is very centered and I feel like her arms are chopped a little awkwardly. I think I would either crop it looser with more arms at the bottom of the frame and have her off-center to the left, or crop in even tighter so the image is really just her face. This crop/composition seems sort of 'in between'. What a cutie! |

Little Green Christmas Bulbby W.R.MillerComment: I like the DOF and the bokeh from the Christmas light at the bottom of the frame. I find that the white spot of light coming through the branches competes with the ornament for my attention. A nice Christmas shot! 6 |

Updraftby IvoryComment: I like this idea alot. I think it would have been nice to have more light on the leg, to make it more obvious what we are looking at. |
