Nice capture, almost abstractlike. Would've appreciated much larger explosions. Appears as if you missed it, then captured the beginning of the next series of shots.

Would've cropped out the plant on the extreme far left and the leaves poking into frame far right. Otherwise, the vibrant purple helps bring life to the dull greens and grays to the rest of the photo.

The deep blues of the sky are very pleasing. The purples seem a bit on the red side. Horizon is tilted.

Good job at not letting the petals get lost in the white background. That being said, image looks plain and boring. Would've liked to see the flower in its natural surroundings and environment. Flower looks sterile or lifeless.

Very moody. Nice lighting. Purple cloth and clouds appear grainy that would've been cleaned up nicely in NeatImage, giving it that finished look.

The Green Leaf

I like your choice to name your entry "The Green Leaf" and have the leaf in focus, even though this is a purple challenge. Compositionwise, I'm not sure I like the 2 grapes one on top of the other. I would've cut out the grape at the bottom and placed it behind the leaf and 2nd grape on the right side higher than the grape on the far left, forming a triangle.
