Ladybuy & Daffodilby ladpupmoeComment: good dof and composition (tough to get those ladybugs to stay where you ask them to) There is something about the lighting here that's a bit off - it doesn't give your shot that punch it should/could have. |

"Red" Buttonsby wetlandComment: Nice use of a different angle for the buttons (hanging), good dof (enough to tell what it is but not distracting - looks like an impressionistic painting). I'd like a bit more light on the red to make them pop a bit - handheld light since it's hard to control the sun ;) The border doesn't add in my opinion as I can't look at the shot without noticing it - turning it into an element and pulling my eye away from your main subject. |

Tulip and Friendby faidoiComment: You've made a find shot on the white flower, well lit and nice use of shadows... I don't think any of the other elements in the shot add (the buidling, red tulip, other white flower) to your "friend"'s beauty. The red tulip, because of it's color, dominates as the main subject but since it's partially covered, the composition suffers |

Spring Sprungby jimmythefishComment: nice use of the tree to offer extra texture . The spotlight (filter?) on the daffodil creates the focal point. The sky on the upper right and the trees on the upper left don't add -- perhaps cropping along the sides to avoid pulling my eye to uninteresting parts of the shot?? |

Yellow Backby MichelePComment: fine composition; the green stuff has a nice texture, the edges of the petals are your trouble area here - there is something funky about them. I'd suggest a very slight blur filter to softed them |

"Help"by ladpupmoeComment: cute idea -- lighting is a bit off so the yellow doesn't pop. |

Dune Jumpingby ZoomdakComment: really like the motion here - adds to the composition. looks like you took your time to get the right frams, foreground and background. One of my ribbon picks. |

Golden Gate by BrennanOBComment: such a serene mood and lovely monochromatic treatment... one of my favorites (to move it to one of my ribbon picks I'd suggest softening the 1/3, 1/3, 1/3 composition -- somehow the water line and the orange line in the sky is too linear for the mood you've created - hope that makes sense...) |

Navel Orangeby sherComment: (first let me say that's I'm biased towards flowers) you've done a fine job here with dof and the close-in angle and croping. One of my ribbon picks. |
