Rumohra Adiantiformisby bongoComment: Wonderfully structured image and the use of backlighting makes the picture that little bit different..bumping from 7 to 9. |

Can't see the forest for the treesby cwyouComment: There was a lot of potential in this pic Chip....if it hadn`t been so out of focus, you would have finished much higher.
Don`t be downheartened..just keep the same level of originality and make sure you get the focus right for future shots.

Highland Cowby BobsterLobsterComment: I like the way the backlighting has caught his coat and brought out the red hues.
They are great subjects and usually very good "sitters" as I found out for the "National geographic" challenge. |

Loch Morlichby BobsterLobsterComment: Lovely picture of a beautiful area...there are a few artifacts showing up on the outline of the hills..(compression?)but short of that it`s excellent. |

Highland Rainbowby BobsterLobsterComment: The best days are when the sky is dramatic with just a little sun to dapple the mountains....you have been exceptionally lucky here and made the best of it...well captured. |

Wedding Bagpipesby BobsterLobsterComment: What an interesting angle..the long shadows are brilliant.
The stone at the back of the piper is a little distracting but not enough to spoil the picture.
Also think the grey stone on the ground makes a nice neutral background for the image. |

Waspby BobsterLobsterComment: These "wee fellies" might be known as wasps down you way..but up here they are "hoverflies".
Wait until you see our wasps !!!!
Nice capture incidentally :) |
