Magnetic. I find my eyes trailing into the upper left blue area from time to time... and I keep wondering where the texture came from in that area. It's rather interesting. Possibly made from camera noise? But the blue hue, combined with the sandiness of the natural wood color makes this image to me. The details are good, but they wouldn't stand alone.

Although I can almost immediately understand what this is, the literal interpretation is not emphasized, and it's easy for the viewer to craft their own connotation.

My initial impression is that this is quite a pretty and intricate flower. But I'm not sure that means it's an especially good abstract. To me, an abstract needs a little more ambiguity, so as to force the viewer into thinking more.

Looks like a reflection of someone's memory of a perfect day. Some of the details are lost, and replaced by the cob webbs of the brain, but most of it is still there.
