The high key, white on white look is very nice for showcasing her eyes -- which are very pretty, indeed. I like the lowered saturation -- very porcelain doll looking. The freckles are charming.

A very cute lopsided smile and expression for sure. Gotta love that raised eyebrow. I would have liked this one better if he had been making eye contact with the viewer, I think.

I like the lighting and desaturated tones a lot, the expression is interesting. It does not, however, speak to the title, IMO. Character is very difficult to portray in an image.

Terrific lighting and color -- right down to the blue eyebrows. Funky and dramatic and I would say blue hair is definitely a defining feature.

Broad back and thick hair

Beautiful thick hair, I might add, and a very pretty profile. I might not have included "broad back" in my title LOL The image is softer than I would like to see it -- especially the hair should be very well defined, I think. The grain helps but does not completely compensate for the blown out areas. And I find the location of the corner in the background distracting. It like this anyway.

Known for his Hat

Excellent detail in both the hat and the face. The hat stars as IMO is appropriate for this challenge, but the face is strong enough to balance it nicely.
