He's Kicked The Bucket by jagarComment: My favorite in the challenge -- absolutely wonderful use of the available light patterns and terrific tonal range. |

The Pause Before the Flightby sjhulsComment: What's with the two on the right who could give a hoot? Very nice composition - the placement and lines of the tree are particularly nice. Wouldn't it be great if the fence wasn't there -- though it isn't that obtrusive. Good score from me. |

gatto in bianco e neroby timfythetooComment: Probably my favorite cat entry and one of my favorite pets entries -- I did not go into the voting consciously biased for other-than-pets shots, but I noticed after I finished that I apparently was. This is just a lovely portrait of a beautiful cat, though -- I think I would like to be able to make out a bit of the body so the head didn't appear to be floating quite so much. |

Snow Leopardby AlainComment: Nice detail and light and a regal near profile pose -- I like that I can see both eyes. |

A Hunting We Will Goby slimpComment: Wonderful action shot - love the dripping water and the look of his wet coat. Glad he was just practicing on a decoy :) |

Face Timeby ecmguyComment: Terrific pov and a favorite though I would like to see whiter whites and blacker blacks plus a lightening in the area of the eyes if you could do that convincingly. |

Black & Whiteby RianBotesComment: Pretty -- love the strong contrasts in the zebra stripes in the softness of the tones and focus of the surrounding grasses. |

S44 NAG... Oh yes she is.by Jon_HComment: Nice capture and excellent title. I like an environmental portrait of a pet as well as of a person -- and that's quite well indeed :) |

Skyby agrimaceComment: I love the pose, setting, and expression. Could be sharper in the eye area. Nice score anyway because I can relate so well -- must be one of those days. |
