Seaside Sentinels by hesitantComment: This is very interesting. i'm curious to see more about these rocks - hopefully there's image details and not a blank box after voting finishes. |

...as slippery as a snake in wet grass. by KelliComment: Great image! Love the detail on the scales; the water drops do a great job of adding to the illusion it has created wrapping itself on the branch. I'm torn between giving it a 9 and a 10. I've been staring at this critter for about 5 straight minutes now... i simply can't stop going over the details. I'd never get this close to one in real life, but they are quite amazing to look at. |

Her eyes twinkled like starsby ytshuvaComment: Giving this a 10 because of the feeling of pure joy.
The model (your daughter?) did a great job here, and the focus is spot on.
Hopefully others feel the same, i'd like to see this finish with high marks! |

Watchful as a Sentinelby bassboneComment: I like the detail here both in the sky and the ground here.
The environment is befitting of 'requiring a sentinel' as it looks quite difficult to navigate. |

Free As A Birdby pambComment: Nice capture of the bird in flight.
The overexposed background is interesting here, whether intended or not, metaphorically to show the freedom - not even a blue sky can contain it; but i would honestly prefer to see blue behind the bird, not just in the reflection. |

Faith like a childby YoManoComment: a little overexposed on the background, and i'd like to see the same detail in the older child's eyes that exist in the younger, but those are relatively minor quibbles to a nice photo. |

As fast as the windby AmmieComment: Not sure where you'd find this much snow on the ground at this time of year... especially given the plant life in the background - looks to be from the northern hemisphere which (with the possible exception of extreme northern canada/russia/alaska) should have zero snow on the ground and some foilage on the trees. |
