September Sunby DeniseComment: It's a little dark and a tad over sharpened. Very beautiful shot though. |

Look unto meby daisydavidComment: This is an interesting one. Judging from the title, I get the idea that you want the photo to convey warmth and comfort. I think this could have been better achieved with increased saturation and skewing the color balance more toward warm colors. Also noticing that the subject appears to be a little fuzzy anyway, experimenting with soft focus may have been a fun idea to help diminish the relevance of perfect focus as well as help bring a bit more of an ethereal feel to the photograph. I still enjoyed this, and keep at it! |

Cape Cod Sunsetby nickybComment: Very touching photograph. I would have named it something different to help it "tell a story", but I still very much enjoyed it! |

Giver of Lifeby robertmcdComment: I love the idea of this, just not in love with the treatment. The concept requires the viewer to get the feeling of an overwhelming power. I think this could have been better achieved with increased contrast (levels or curves) and a touch of brightness to the roses to highlight the sun's impact to the rose petals and the "life" of the greens. A little modification would have earned another point or two, but I still really enjoyed this photograph! |
