I agree with the others; if you cropped out the trees and grass, it would make the shot more interesting. I particularly like the shadows on the right side of the fence.

Oh, yes, now that you mention it, the eyes are a bit out of focus. With that in mind, the star effect does take focus off of that aspect. I'm still not a huge fan of the star, though. But the colors and overall detail of the rest of the bluet are beautiful!

I like it! I'm not sure why...I'd normally think it looks cluttered, but somehow, it works. The black and white is an excellent choice.
