Target practiceby graphicfunkComment: i like when i get an emotion from a pic. this one really makes me uneasy, not just the gun, but the close range shot like you're placing it up against someone's head. the mixed signal provided by the coke can is extremely intriguing. I would have thought the more natural target to be a bud can. but upon further reflection the feeling of a caffeen overdose adds to the tension. very interesting, though i wouldn't hang it on my wall. |

Class of 2005by RickHComment: clever idea, good focus. the composition just feels a bit to chaotic to be able to make it fully work. |

On the lakeby BigRComment: good leading line. it's shadow is a bit distracting. i'm wondering if you could have improved the look and lessening of the shadow by centering the pier. the rule of thirds would still apply to the focus point. another possible adjustment to make it easier on the eye might be to lower your point of view so the end of the pier merges with the horizon |

Balmaha Boatby muggle_girlComment: i wouldn't be afraid to up your contrast a bunch more. i hope you continue to learn psp. i feel bringing the trees to black and upping the contrast on the boat through dodging and burning so you really highlight the light you have on the bow, would really make this shot catch people's attention. |

Sunny side of the streetby bpickardComment: i'm liking your composition. i would have gone with stronger contrast. possibly blackening everything on the right except the car in the middle. i realize you would lose the street line but i think it just competes with the shadow line anyway. now you have this light vs dark, good vs evil thing working with the church. |

Healthy Biteby muggle_girlComment: super crisp. would have liked to see it w/o the juice, or maybe more uniform juice. |

Heading Homeby davidbedardComment: nice composition. like how you've chosen to include the other pier to help direct things. good contrast under tough lighting |

Banshee in the Basementby jenesisComment: very unique and intriguing. as is, the light on the top keeps drawing me away from the figure. it looks good, but i think it might look better cropped down or up and inch. don't mind me, i shouldn't be critiquing your art. |

stone by stoneby JohannesFrankComment: beautiful...really like how the sidewalk tiles strengthen the idea. the red and green in the background add a ton of interest at the destination. |

Revenge On Authority ... Got A Match ?by ColeyComment: nice expression on the nun....perhaps that's real pain. I'm trying to conceive a way to get my gma to lie on the train tracks for a photo op....ummmm nope, can't seem to do it. As far as leading into the pic, I'm guessing, placing the girls further down the line just lost the point. |
