Line of the ringby FyzarlComment: excellent old time feel. technique and tone is perfect in my mind. almost too good as the exceptional focus seems to highlight a bit of fuzz at the end of the third ring. |

Convergenceby conglettComment: great lines, good focus, great exposure. though, other than the sky the subject is just too plain |

Starting Lineby SeaSailComment: crisp shot. your lines seem to be in a bit of a competition with each other, and don't end up drawing me at your subject, as my mind wants to follow the lanes off of the page. setting him up at the starting line and taking the shot straight down the race lanes would have been a bit more cliche, but i think it would have reinforced the challenge better. |

Take Offby karmatComment: good lines. a bit grainy though. would have liked to see a bunch more contrast and blacker blacks. i would have cropped down to the top of the tree line. |

Stick to a Pose...by itripnComment: good focus. the stick is more of a separate entity than an eye leader and really competes for attention with the bird. |

Arrivalby ace flymanComment: great tones. i really like the balance brought by the poles at the bottom. the runway has a tough time leading the eye to the plane. nice pic though |

Who ate all the cookies?by christie3Comment: good idea. interesting choice to have the theif leave bottom left. like seeing the clues before the crime. focus is a bit soft. i like the b/w |

Out to the lightby garlicComment: nice leading line. from the grain on the floor the focus is very good. i feel the picture is just missing something. maybe a figure passing by the entrance would help in my mind |

Welcome . . . . watch your stepby glad2badadComment: great lighting and colors. i want to really like this pic even though the line really runs off the page...i'm still very much drawn to your focal point the door knob. the angle not being straight on just makes me uncomfortable...not sure exactly why. |
