Not Parkingby james_soComment: your composition does a good job to make your title understandable. that tree is a bit of a distraction. picture feels a bit hazy, pehaps some bumping of the contrast could have helped |

Inner Harborby kevinfComment: the quality of this shot is amazing. i want to ctrl+ and see more of the details though. it's odd that the sky is pixelated and the ship area seems smooth as glass. anyway i'll go out on a limb and say the equipment does make a huge difference when it comes to night shots. that water is phonomenally still... i so wish you zoomed in a bit more, or perhaps shot from a lower angle so the horizon ended up closer to the top, allowing the reflections to breathe. |

Risen — Summer Dawnby Bear_MusicComment: someone commented on me adding a subject that seemed unusual, so i probably should bite my toungue, because it was just part of my artistic impression... but i can't help but wonder why you threw the hand in there, especially in that area which had the most intriguing item in it. i think the scene as it stood was interesting, though the blur on objects that aren't moving is a little disconcerting, but perhaps that also added to the odd environment. |

Waiting in the silent of the nightby NunoComment: i think it would have been ok to expose for the sign. the girl would have been very shadowy and would have made the pic a bit more moody. as it stands the overexposed sign behind her is very distracting for me. also her pose is odd...perhaps she's leaning to see the bus. but as it is i'm afraid that she's going to topple over at any moment. |

Distant Lightsby BrianRComment: i think the textures have alot of merit, especially that water mixing in with the sand. i think you needed to exploit them a bit more with photoshop. perhaps with a bunch more contrast. an alternative route if you did want to showcase the lights would have been to use a much smoother foreground that didn't grab so much attention. and of course everyone is killing you on the horizon line |

Curiositiesby RKTComment: this feels extremely well thought out. from the wiring of the vase sculpture and the eye glasses to the picture frame corner and the desk corner. it might just be me, but the main point of light on the vase feels a bit overdone. the table corner leads out, but i like how the shadow on the wall pushes the eye back towards the center of the frame. over analyzed...mmmm could be :) nice shot, nonetheless. |

'top' attemptby cheleComment: great composition. the similiarly patterened box in the corner with lines leading to the top. the box being the straight object and the top being all wobbly. not sure i described that in very artistic terms. also the subdued colors and noise are just perfect in my mind. i wish your title gave me more faith in the planning of the shot, but perhaps i'm just misunderstanding it. all in all, very intriguing work. also in regards to composition i like how both objects are cut by the borders. |

Bike Blurby drake217Comment: what a cool shot. the biker blur is amazing. the lighting really helped in my mind with the light on 1 side and the shadow underneath. i absolutely hate the background setting, but maybe that helps to make this so odd looking. still i think i'd rather have that subject in an urban race setting, or maybe with darkness behind him such as rocks or dirt. |

Going downby rhipsterComment: i really like the deep dof you've achieved. it's interesting how the heads seem smaller when blurred. that celing cutting across does hurt the pic's movement for me though. |

River Taxisby amberComment: i really like the composition. everything fits very well. i really like how the clouds mimic the blurred taxis |
