Born To Boogieby TommyMoe21Comment: great clarity. color just doesn't feel quite right. the perspiration is a bit too intense. wish you had composed something a bit further back as i feel we're almost smothering this guy....perhaps that was your intent. background is a bit distracting |

Beautiful Noiseby SteveinnzComment: focus is very good. lighting is kind of harsh, with the blown out area by the pickup a distraction. wish you had included the entire volume knob. strum is in a strange location. |

Focused Baseby jimmiedComment: interesting. i wonder if this would look even cooler with him even more posterized. i'm thinking a super modernist looking subject on that very geometric backround. just a thought, as your art stands fine on it's own. |

Acoustic Blurby iamkmaniamComment: cool comp. really like the posterized effect you've created in camera. i wish the fret hand was stronger or didn't exist, not sure which. enjoyed the daring work, thanks. |

Soul Rockby bclementsComment: nice focus on the singer .though to me the basis seems to be the stronger composition. i would have manuevered to focus on him and capture another such interesting pose closer up. |

If Only I Could Be.....by TDCollinsComment: fantastic idea. i wish the lighting was a little less harsh. would have been even cooler if you had included the little shrub thing when you took the first photo so it would have had a reflection for the second. i guess you would have still had to tone down the shadow, but i assume that wouldn't have been a problem as you managed to clone out the shadow of the yellow flower pretty well. there does appear to be just a wee bit of strange coloring just above it that looks like it might have been left by some errant cloning. still a very, very good entry. |

91 Second Swirlby ourwebstopComment: nice clean photo. excellent exposure. it's intriguing, but i'm not drawn into for some reason. perhaps that center is just too imposing. the odd thing is, it appears darker than the outside area. i guess it's doing it's job, as i now... can't... look... away. perhaps this photo just needs more attention, as it improves with age. |
