very nice image, congrats on 6th. personally speaking it should have been higher especially seeing the last image was not a night time silhoutte. Composition is great regardless of partially missing a limb, makes no difference to the image at all imho, great!

I've seen how this technique is done a few times elsewhere and it is very effective, and you expertly used it here for a great photo and yes a wonderful christmas card, simple and elegant, but doesnt take away from those who used the whole family or themselves as per the challenge, congratulations nonetheless :O) and truly Merry Christmas :O)

Yeah, it's not the majority of the card, but it's a family member in the card and it's the wonder of a child's imagination at play in the other scenes. What's more magical and christmas-y than a child playing with toys?

yes it had one member of the family, and i thought it a better attempt than a lot on this challenge, just i felt the challenge was about you(the photographer) or your Family(plural) if it had said any other member of the family? and you cant see the childs wonder in his face or inquisative look... so for me yeah it didnt meet challenge like i dont think second place was worthy either compared to family ones.. i know it sounds harsh im not trying to be...
