Keyboardby tvsometimeComment: Nice shot. I'm on the fence about whether I like, or don't like, the DOF here. Part of me is wanting to see the front keys in focus... while the other part finds that the back keys being in focus in very different and interesting.
Maybe if the middle was more in focus, or the front wasn't so blurred? I just don't know.
I do like that this shot isn't your normal "key" shot, however. |

Key To Heavenby BrianRComment: Cute idea. Looks like the white balance may be a little off. And the angle isn't doing the shot justice. But I do like the idea. |

to my heartby jmritzComment: This is a great idea. I was thinking of doing something similar with my shot, but alas, I didn't.
I think this shot is a bit OOF... and the colors are somewhat flat.
I do like the close up, the way she is holding the necklace, and the idea, but there should be a few minor adjustments to really make it pop, IMO, that is |

Keys in B&Wby hajekaComment: The black and white background/foreground is a great contrast to look at, visually, it's appealing. I like the keys being the only thing around... very simplistic, yet clean.
The detail is well shown. I don't know of anything I would have done differently in this shot.
In my opinion, well done. |

Stick“em Up by mrbig65Comment: Such a brilliant idea. I am loving the way this looks like the barrel of a gun, the DOF of this is perfect to pull this shot off.
Detail is wonderful... darkness works. Nicely done. |

Each Key, One Doorby casdsrComment: I like the idea of this shot, but originally, my attention was drawn to the center of the shot. Perhaps that's because there is so much darkness in the wood right there. I think that if the right of the key would have been darkened, and the left of the frame (which contains the board with the key, handle, etc) would have been as bright as it currently is, it would have drawn my attention better.
Perhaps blurring the right boards as well would have improved the focus point, which should be the key.
Overall, I think this is a good shot, but with a few adjustments, it could be even better.
Just some suggestions to take into consideration (if you want). |

Then, one day... I found them together... by theluissalesComment: Haha... WONDERFUL idea. I like what you've done with the keys... having the one key as a shadow, like it's walking in on them. The idea is genius! Hope this is doing well for you.
Oh, and the DOF is spot on! Well shot and composed!!! |
