Thumbs Up for Leap Day!by Carly16Comment: Their seems to be quite a few of you from the same school. Was this a school project? I wonder what the details of the project were. Only because they aren't really in the style of Natsumi Hayashi.
OK, some tips for next time, try to bounce your on-camera flash off of a wall or the ceiling, this will soften your shadows. be more aware of your background and choose one without distracting features in it. Try to use a faster shutter speed to remove any motion blur, and finally use the rule of thirds when possible.
Good luck! |

Side Flyerby AllWeekleyLongComment: Cool position, I am afraid of how he landed that. A faster shutter speed would have froze him. |

Light of Heartby BrielleComment: I am curious on how you got the bright light on her, it looks like sunlight but nothing else is illuminated like that (except for that little patch in the road on the right). well done |

Skatsby whiteroomComment: I like how it looks like the guys in the pictures are looking at him. Maybe a little faster shutter speed would freeze him there. |

Athelete Alert!by AdamParsonsComment: Not sure what kind of camera you are using, but you have 800 pixels available. this shot is very small and tough to see the details.
On the plus side, it looks like your shutter speed was just about fast enough and you subject is in the third. |

Jump like No Ones Lookingby IAmEliKatzComment: just a few pointers, your subject is in the center of the frame, try to get him over to a third of the shot. Try to remove distracting elements, like the girl at the computer and the TV and such. Instead of pointing the flash right at the subject, point it at the ceiling or a wall to soften the shadows.
Good luck and keep snapping!! |
