North Fallsby ArtifactsComment: I like this one a lot, very nice. The composition is really good. I see you mentioned the focus in the comments, and that you shot it at 1.8 - that lens tends to be soft wide open, but it can give you a certain look and it turns out well with some sharpening, like in this one. |

Glory by ShannonLeeComment: Congrats! I wish my photos that 'kinda sucked' won ribbons :p
edit- not that I'm saying it sucks, it's definitely good. Message edited by author 2006-11-01 00:10:05. |

Early Morning Light by SiggavComment: This is great. Congrats on the absolutely deserved ribbon. The lighting is amazing, as is the composition in the crop. |

Mud and Gritby MudHutComment: Really good shot, nice job. Bear said it about the composition with the bike cropped off the bottom - the tight crop on the right is good, it creates visual tension that goes perfectly with the expression of the rider, and the overall shot. But, the bottom of tires and the ground they're on are almost as important as the riders face in most MTB shots, IMO. |

circletrail1.jpgby bvoiComment: Nice one. I love star trail shots, you did a good job on this one. The short-ish trails almost make you feel dizzy because of the wide FOV. |
