Terminal tormentby GarryComment: Gosh, that's quite the litany of steps. You forgot 'crop', you nong.
Wahoo on the TT Garry! Powerful image made more so by your processing. |

My team and I were marveling at the dearth of comments in this challenge so I thought I would at least attempt to correct that a little:
I would love to know how you've done this - I'm assuming small threads to hold up the petals? It's a top idea. Perhaps your composition could be altered a little as it feels unbalanced. Also, it must have been difficult to not damage the petals, but I would probably have healed/cloned out a lot of the damaged and brown bits. I like the lighting - it almost makes the flower glow. |

What I like: the spots of colour are very well balanced.
What I don't necessarily like but understand you can't help these things: he's facing the 'wrong' way. However, the colour keeps you in the frame anyway, so maybe it's not that bad after all!
I actually read the poster - interesting advertisement! |

I really like this portrait as it speaks to the viewer regardless of whether you read the title or not. However, the pole behind his head is distracting; perhaps a crop just above his hat would help remove that focus while leaving more than enough environmental elements to still tell the story. |

He looks like he knows what he's doing. Love the use of dof here to really tell the story. |

Exactly how I'd like to end my day. Unfortunately I'm usually still in front of the damn computer until minutes before bed. :( |

I was expecting someone to do an image like this one. I've always wondered why people over dramatise by putting in extra pill bottles etc. I don't know that an image that could be this powerful needs the extra props. |

Negative space - check. Composition - check. Sense of impending doom - check. I like it. |

Creative high key image. Use of perspective and areas of shadow are effective. I don't even mind that it's not perfectly symmetrical as I think it adds to the charm of the image in this instance. I wish you'd been able to spell 'omelette'! |
