2 old lenses in piecesby garryyoungComment: Beautifully low key. Good exposure and highlight/flare control. The dust on the lens (filter?) made me wipe my monitor. In this show, I find the reflections to be a bit distracting. They're so sharp and in some ways, keep me from being able to settle down and enjoy where the objects start/end. |

Torn to bitsby NeatComment: I think I would have liked this more if I had to guess more at what the original shape was. It could have been an interesting commentary on analog vs digital if you were to place everything and position in a more logical or straightforward manner? Maybe Largest to smallest, or separated by color shifts/tones? |

Aircraft Engine Disassembledby MrHllywd07Comment: Can't be an aircraft engine, it's missing the doohickey that plugs into the watchamacallit.
Grain is lovely. Lighting, composition, tones, cropping... everything in this is perfect. My one nit pick, and really, it is a nitpick, is that it doesn't actually feel disassembled. It just feels exposed... similarly to if one were to open up a hard drive bay, or clock face. 9. My highest of the challenge. |

Snowballby DudskiComment: Nice shot. The black edges seem so dense, is there a way to thin those down a bit with your lighting? The water on the background pulls me out of the effect a bit, it highlights the scale difference, and makes it seem more unrealistic. I would also try this with green instead of the pink, might come off as more 'natural' or outdoorsy. Solid 7 from me. |

Breakfast in Italyby mrchhasComment: Lovely tones, grains and texture. I find the composition to be a bit haphazard, the framing seems a bit close, and the slight angle of the filter bothers me. Conceptually, it seems simple, especially with only 3 elements (and a weird handle) in the frame. 6 |

Electric Dreamsby mrbig65Comment: dang, that copper really glows, huh? The light looks good on the screws as well. I wish the white plastic looked better, it seems so dull. |

without waterby ThaiComment: "Honey, we need to call the plumber!"
The metallic tones in this are nice, I like the surface imperfections (granite?) as well. the highlight on the spigot is a bit strange, almost glowing. |

Big City Lifeby SpaniolenComment: I think I lived in that apartment when I was younger. Boy was that place cramped. Does it give more of a cityscape feeling in b/w or sepia tone? |

Summer skatingby smalldj17Comment: Summer doesn't usually make me think of green. Can you warm the color up a bit?
- Beautiful texture, light, DOF and charisma. Makes me miss my skating days. At this point, it's my challenge winner. 9 |

H20verdriveby MattOComment: It's a beautiful shot... but I don't understand at all what water drops have to do with an image being disassembled, so in that sense, it seems kind of gimmicky. If you're adding this to a portfolio, the bottom left corner shows some excess water drops. |
