Futile Motionby autoolComment: Nice and colorful! I see your point of despair but isn't real strong in that respect, imo. |

Stock Photo Frame Insertby crabappl3Comment: This is cute. She looks like such a sweet little lady. The odd thing is the stripes in her hair. Is it light and shadow. Positioning her somewhere else might eliminate that. The chair goes well though, so keep that. |

Taken by Surpriseby dacrazyrnComment: I can see that this is an animal, and there is probably quite a story of despair here. Unfortunately, after studying it, I can\'t qute make heads or tails out of it. In my case it\'s prolly just as well, as animals suffering can haunt me. |

Strandedby GolferDDSComment: Good simple composition with good lighting. The real espair would be if someone was in the car. |

Feeling Helplessby mcraelComment: Critique Club Comments by Grayce
I think that desaturating all but the yellow works very well for this image, making the yellow stand out very well.
The focus is good, with excellent texture in the rope as well as the hand, with effective depth of field.
I like that you expressed a feeling and in a simple, uncluttered manner.
The diagonal of the thumb and arms acts as a nice vehicle for the eyes to ride along, as one explores this picture, making the composition and framing fine. I would prefer to see the entire thumb in the picture though.
Your lighting is pretty perfect. Bright enough, but somewhat subtle too. Very nice!
Good job overall.

Rhythmic Stepsby sherComment: Critique Club Comments by Grayce
Sher, This is very eye-catching. The perspective works to lead my eyes throughout the image. I like how it curves up near the top. Very well composed.
The interplay of shadows and light keep it interesting and rythmic.
Adding the gaussian was a very good idea, that contributes to the overall textural effect.
I do wonder if leaving the rusty color in it would have been even better, but black and white works too.
Good job, and I look forward to more of your images.
Regards,
Grayce |
