Perspectiveby LutchenkoComment: there isn't any bizarre achitecture I could find in this photo. Just as your title says "only a different perspective" |

Curves n Lines by sekarmalathyComment: fits challenge perfectly. bizarre architecture indeed. However, border choice is not the best one. |

Let me show you round my house.by docjonnyComment: stunning scene. details on the granite entrance are so very crisp. But I believe the photo overall has been slightly oversharpened. And since this being advanced editing, IMO you could have cleaned up some of those patches visible on the house.
But, overall a very nice photo and surprised why this didn't do well. Message edited by author 2010-03-20 16:01:16. |

"Go ahead, make my play."by Yo_SpiffComment: Yes Steve. I believe that voters penalized you for the toy not being the main subject. However, I really love this shot, and technically its very good.
Cheers |

B 1stby raishComment: Two aspects had affected the rating for this photo:
one is the ample negative space. Not all viewers like the same and the moment you make an overload of that, some people tend to leave you low scores.
Second, I didn't understand the meaning of those 3 dimensional lines. Was it intentional or maybe small areas which was left out while making a light-tent? Whichever way, the same is not giving anything extra to the otherwise wonderful egg, and IMO could have been avoided. |

Elephantby Joker1114Comment: Nice photo of an elephant, and well post-processed. The vignette gives a special feeling to this photo.
However the photo is still lacking the richness which can almost always never be obtained when shot from a higher height (a plane different from where the subject actually is). This miniaturizes the subject although how big it is in real. *something which you can't help always*
Although the photo is rich in detail, I strongly believe that the trunk of the elephant shouldn't have been cropped off. |

For the inner child...by redpandaComment: I can understand the limitations that you would have for this photo. Just something that I feel could have been done for this shot: "A toy is always something associated to be small. You could have captured this subject from a little far away place so that you can actually cover the entire subject in the photo, but at the same time ensuring the elements that you want to show case are shown" |
