To business... Good Composition, lighting is a bit stark but it really contributes to the quality of the image. A more finished or professional look wouldn't have worked so well. Great work and great answer to the "challenge"!

Nice pumpkin. Was this a natural pumpkin (it looks like it). If so, that's one heck of a carving job!
Your image shows the handwork very well, and the burning (no pun) of the flame causes an interesting effect. Good work!

Good idea, but it doesn't do it for me, at least for the "spirit" (sorry couldn't resist) of this challenge. I like the idea and the execution, but my taste tends towards the "real" unreality of many of the other submissions. Good work and good luck.
