Suicide Bobby TLL061Comment: I guess Sponge Bob was too obviouls an example of yellow not to have him show up in this challenge. Good use of the overhyped character - I think a lot of people would like to see him do this. |

Working Toward Yellowby prbettsComment: Interesting abstract - is it the petal of a flower? I think some element to break up the lines would be an improvement. |

Primary Swimmerby dartompkinsComment: Nice shot. I like the selective DOF, the sharpness of the eye and the clear rendition, which doesn't suffer from distorition from the water. |

Lemon!by KeysComment: The challenge calls for yellow, and lemons are naturally yellow, so why is so much of this picture PINK???? |

Towel Headby alanfreedComment: Great selective DOF and a great expression. Was this a setup, or was this guy really wearing a yellow towel on his head? If so, why? |

Follow the Yellow Brick Roadby scalvertComment: Very cute! Your dog would qualify to play Toto in a production of the Wizard of Oz, and the shot is nicely composed and very sharp. Where is this road? It can't be purely a photoshop creation with basic editing rules. Or if it can, I'd sure like to learn how to do it. |

YELLOW LIGHTby medinfo2000Comment: Very interesting lighting, and a good compromise in exposure between bringing out the light and showing too much of the background. Did you use a starburst filter to get those rays of light around the lamps? |

untitledby jjbeguinComment: Great composition and use of yellow, but I would have liked to see the cyclist sharp, rather than the people in the background. Possibly a faster shutter, a smaller f/stop or both would have gotten them all in focus, but if I had to compromise I'd choos the cyclist. Often when there's not enough light, I let the picture underexpose and then repair it in Photoshop using the levels or curves controls. You can get two (or sometimes even three) stops that way. |

yellow is usby WobbleComment: Nice compostion. I like the way you got just enough of the other letters to indicate what the sign says, but not so much that it competes with the O. Brilliant colors - was the sign linternally lighted? |

mellow yellowby LisaCanComment: I like the variation in shades as you go down the candle. What is it? Or is this an "un-candle" with a flammable oil rather than wax as the fuel? Very sharp picture either way. |
