You drive me nuts by darixComment: I love the way you captured the motion of the driver (uhm, that looks more like a fairway wood than a driver) ;) |

Busting a Nutby scrum8Comment: I saw the title, I saw the claw of the hammer. I was afraid to scroll down. LOL. Very nice literalism. |

"put that in your pipe and smoke it"by FlashComment: The red background really plays well with the black pipe and gold holder. Unfortunately, the image is very grainy and could have benefitted from some despeckling. As far as the literalism is concerned, putting something in the bowl may have made a stronger imapct. Maybe a piece of paper with a visible title reading "recent poll" or something else that one would show while using the phrase. Then again, why ruin a classic shot of a beautiful pipe. ;) |

Hard to Swallowby thelselComment: I really like the lighting in this photo even though the next comment may very well complain that the bowl is too dark (don't listen to them). It would have been interesting if you seperated the foreground from the background by adjusting the depth of field causing the bowl to be out-of-focus. But using the light works well too. |

Going For Brokeby GolferDDSComment: Excellent concept and I love the contrast. I used a similar theme in my still life entry but clearly didn't pull it off as well as you did. The only criticism is that the six on your fingertips is slightly blurred (but hardly worth a deduction). By the way, had those been actual rolls on the craps table (in that order), you'd be sitting on a good bit more money. |
