It's a fantastic photo but you worked on it to death and made it in the style of let's say, Dali or Max Ernst (surrealists) rather than the impressionists. |

As a pure exercise, it's very good, but it's in a bastardized medium: not truly a painting, not a photograph. |

Very true about the picture BUT the words "comfortable and pleasing" would be a HUGE, HUGE insult for the impressionists and an enormous misunderstanding of what they tried to do. |
