Avo-'Qua-Doby AllenPComment: This tops most of the water/droplets/crisp light images that I saw here so far because it goes way beyond just amazing us technically.
There is a story that transcends the effect and one can look and find interest in what the image says forgetting that there is an avocado and some water trick but getting a lot of thoughts and feelings ranging from the imminent danger of an eruption to the peaceful contemplation of a new specie of mushroom. Or snail. |

found self portraitby bvyComment: One of these haphazard encounters with the alter ego, on a rainy, bad hair day. The grey hue does not win me over completely. Perhaps with more contrast or less saturation. It's just a touch undecided. |

Hopby freakin_hilariousComment: Unexpected encounter with a good conversationalist! Absolutely adorable in its shy pinkish hue. |

last yearby tnunComment: Even without the title, one feels the erosion of time and the glimmers of hope.
I like this image a lot but it remains a bit decorative which is not at all a demeaning remark. I could see it used as a pattern for tiles and its random positioning in relation to each other would create a spectacular geometric effect. |

intrepid foolby bspurgeonComment: Dramatic image, fitting title, splendid use of brownish hues, great lesson of life. |

The face she hidesby daisydavidComment: Excellent. Political.
Just to be fussy (one gets fussy when in the presence of good stuff): a bit of crop on the right where the scarf gets discoloured would be salutary. |

Morning Fogby DCrest01Comment: It surely responds well to the challenge, reminds me a bit of Venice, but it's so washed out that it's losing the mirage illusion. |

untitledby bspurgeonComment: Interesting concept but I have a problem with the composition. The grey around the image makes a vertical plane, the floating figure is in perspective. To make a bolder statement the figure should be in my opinion either much smaller or almost bigger than the "canvas". The effect is undecided. I left a long comment because I see the struggle. |

Sophieby SAScambosComment: Oh yes! The fourth fifth no it's fourth ( on second count), cat is here to enslave us! Wearing her best, even if it's minimal editing. I have to get one! |
