Movie Timeby PoobaComment: Good mix of the theme with the popcorn! I did have trouble recognizing that as a movie reel until I read your title, so my advice for next time would be to include more contextual cues, or more of the reels shape. |

Some bases of Curryby fanfuineComment: Very good lighting and shot. I like this in general, butit seems like it still needs something else for more pop. I am not sure, maybe another contrasting color in there? |

Morning Coffee by ArtifactsComment: Good job capturing my favorite beverage. Having all the steam makes it that much better a photo (aesthetically) too. I think it might have been good to have a bit more of the pot there, and maybe a cleaner background than this (I am not sure what the dark blue is here). |

Weapon of Mass Destructionby e301Comment: Greetings from the Critique Club:
A well done image, with good tones, contrast and lighting. Composition is also very good.
Perhaps the most critical I can be of this image, is simply that of subject: it doesn't stand on it's own. I understand you took it for the challenge, and that may be enough. Beyond that, I'm not sure where it's going: It's not recognizable by most (actually, at first I thought it was a carburetor!), yet its not really an abstract by most definitions (or at least mine: having stronger form or pattern focus than it is a pictoral representation of the object). And from a pure aesthetics, it's probably not something that I would hang on the wall.
But it's a very good capture for what it is and what you were using it for. |

Aroma is inspired by natureby rameviComment: Lovely flower; it's a nice, unusual composition, though the angle might be more dynamic I think. You might watch your histogram for overexposure in the future, though I suspect this was a hard flower to photograph! Harder still, it would be nice to have a bit more shadow detail on the leaf. |

When we used to playby oskarComment: Greetings from the Critique Club:
A very nice image! I love the colors, and the concept.
Suggestions: From this position of the shoot, it would have been nice to have enough shadow detail to make out the net (ring) and its attachment to the backboard. Right now we only see part of the net (ring). Similarly, a bit more shadow detail on the wall with the graphiti. Perhaps if you have the new Adobe CS you can try the new shadow detail took on it.
I also would have liked to see a bit more sharpness in the outlines of the wall and bushes, as well as the water in the background.
