Old-House.jpgby orussellComment: I like it--despite the boxy subject. I can see where you might say oversharpened, after reading the other comment, but I didnt notice it at first, and in fact, my initial impression was a very clear and well done shot. |

Puka - The "Overzealous" kingby RedOakComment: I think this placed fine (congratulations)! To me the eyes just don't seem tack sharp (perhaps a bit OOF or some motion blur). This was a great score, but with a bit more sharpness, this may have hit top 10. But there was a tough field of contenders! |

just hangin' outby hopperComment: Congratulations on your placement! It was a tough field of competition (especially for a snake ;) ) Message edited by author 2005-04-11 00:04:13. |

Expensive Petsby risu81Comment: Returning for comment. Very good capture, but not exactly a pet portrait! Hope you bet on #6 or whoever is leading by a nose. |

PRIDEby justinbrookComment: Returning for comment. A nice idea, but this sillouette needs more beak showing IMHO. Also, the beak that's there is beyond the depth of field (at least looks unsharp to me). |

Mayaby itripnComment: Nice portrait! But it looks oversharpened, or simply was from a low resolution camera (or cropped too much). This affects the clarity of the presentation and will unfortunately, lower your score. |

The Family Dogby aplomb76Comment: Revisiting for comment. Really great shot--I really love the desaturated tones here. And the light and composition gives it such character. Bumping up! |
