I don't know what to do with this . . . my imagination needs a little more for a jump start, I think, for this to work for me. If anything, there looks like there is all kinds of . . . texture . . . to this photo. The way the colors separate is interesting, too. 6

This seems like a very well composed picture - not too busy or cluttered, good color, great focus and depth of view - this is almost like a planned candid. This is nothing about this picture not to like . . . except that it doesn't really do anything for me. 6

I like the picture, it has good clarity and is interesting. I like the machines all lined up - the depth of focus seems to add individuality to the similarities. The B/W adds - 8

For the last few months, since my membership here (DPC), I have been learning to look longer at images like this. I am trying to learn how to articulate why this type of photo appeals to me and am really have a hard time of it. I like this image, I like the way it makes me feel - it brings a calming and relaxing feeling; almost comfortable. I don't know everything that's happening here with either the subject nor the photographer. I don't know how, or even if, this image has been post processed. I wish I could better say what it is for me and why . . . 9

Hmmm . . . there is another person in this challenge who might want to have words with you! I like the lighting and how the details aren't lost in the shadows of the eaves. I don't know what it is about this picture, though, that just doesn't seem to work . . . it seems out of balance or awkward. 5
