I've been hangin out along Lake Michigan for a few days and certainly thought of Germaine as I was taking my shots. It seems the sun is more golden on the west coast but I'll assume that has more to do with you. The capture in mid-stride is neat. The shadow is almost cartoonish and maybe mocking the owner. Wouldn't be the same without the tough of blue either. Very nice!

I have some catching up to do, and this is a good place to start. I believe 1977 was the last year these were imported to the states. I was a sophomore in HS and I definitely remember the short skirts, beads and big sunglasses. If this look is coming back I will be pleased. Great shot. I like her expression, which I really can't figure out.

Such a great title to a cool image. Slightly unnerving with the focal point towards the back on the seemingly harmless man in the shadows.
