Earth, wind and fireby johnmComment: I feel you are trying to make the shot with the title. Sometimes every body does it but with little success. The spike holes jump out to me along with the butt and become the main subject. MIght I suggest "Rained Out" for a title. I now see disgust,wet environment and no game. 5 |

The Tao of Earthby brett2004Comment: I hope I am not too harsh, but your image makes me think you need to spend some time with composition. For what it is worth a picture is generally read from left to right and from front to back. Your main subject should take you into the frame and you have to be careful not to allow something to take your eye out of the frame. As I try to get into it the darker upright limb takes me right out. I think if you could have isolated some of the wonderful ferns and taken them from a prspective that the trunk they are on could take you into the frame you would end up with a much more powerful image. 4 |
