Nice use of color, has great lines and a wonderful crispness. I wish the focus (which looks very good) also extended to the subject in the mirror - would really give the image that extra edge. Also, I wish the crop wasn't so tight. The walls are a very nice rich color, would look good with more of it framing the mirror. Other than that, its a very sound image. Nice lighting, great composition. Well done. 7

Cute little critter! I like the image, the lighting is good and colors are vivid but though I do like that in a photo, in this case they really over power the shot. Not sure if the saturation or the brightness was played with in post-editing but if possible I'd tone the color down because it really detracts for me. Great focus on the chipmunk, details are very clear. I like the expanse of natural setting in the background, helps give a deeper feeling of alone. Nice work. 5

A nice shot, I like the angles and lines. Use of black & white is good, though I wish there were a higher contrast. Good focus, lighting is nice. A technically sound image. I don't see how it goes with the challenge though, and I only briefly connect with it on an interest basis as mentioned previously about the angles. I'm afraid I don't get a feeling of solitude or loneliness. But, it is a great shot, very nicely done on the technical side. 6

Wow I love that sky. From the title I expected to see a figure in the photo but I can't make one out, so my next thought is this is what you see when you are alone. Its a great image, the sky brings to mind desolation, but then the city lights change it to simple solitude for me. The night aspect helps give the loneliness as well. Focus looks good as is composition. Very nice. 7

Heh, an interesting image. I like the use of space, and the pumpkin's expression is great. I'm getting more a feeling of fear than solitude or loneliness though. Still I think its a fun photo. 6

Wow. Those are some dramatic colors. Looks a bit oversaturated with the yellows kind of - is that natural or fiddled with? Lighting is good, I like the focus. The subject works well, great especially around this time of year. I have to admit I wish the photo in general were a little brighter so you could pick out just a bit more detail. Still a great shot. 7

Fits the challenge well, I love the sadness of the piece. Even the poor bird looks unhappy. Colors and lighting are good, very emotive image. Nice focus. The one thing that distracts for me is the border though. It being so bright of a contrast to the image draws my eyes away. Great shot. 8
