Superfly! Hmmm... this looks awful familiar. I love this shot because it's not head on like most of the other insect macros we often see. Furthermore, the depth of field is very good, letting us see much of the fly's body in focus. You can even see the fly's small secondary pair of wings. A definite 10 and in my book the challenge winner.

Nice shot. I would have taken this shot in a prone or kneeling position to be closer to the path/road and thus put more emphasis on it. I'm glad you had such a beautiful day to take this shot.

Either ths guy is a tense sleeper, or he's faking it. Muscles around eyes and mouth don't seem right for someone who is dozing. I like the hair. It's very natural and the lighting is very good. Pretty good shot.
