Rusted roots? or is it roofs? Nice composition. Rather than taking something rusted and building a picture around it you have taken a subject and built a scene with rust all around it.

The image meets the challenge. But I don't see a picture composed around the subject. The dark plain b/g does well for the shot, but not much for the challenge. Still I see rust. No 4 for you.

lol.. isn't that a great way to compose a picture around rust. Shadows in the shoulder region. But the chain is focused nicely. The b/g adds to that rusted feel.

This is a good shot. But the image seems too soft. Or may be the soft portion of the image is prominently visible. Also the b/g is almost plain with no picture around the subject. Still you were able to capture rust in a nice way.

Nice way to capture rust. The image looks a little plain wth nothing to draw attention other than the text. I read the text and then thought about the yellow colour before the attention slips on to the rust all over.
