Bodhiby tmhallingComment: Well-lit and great colors, but the depth of field is too short. |

Edge of the Worldby KarenNfldComment: Love the small aperture and how crisp this is. Lots of interesting textures that don't clash, though the bit of seagrass in the immediate foreground seems a little too bright: tamping it down some would make the house pop even more. |

A lookerby svavaComment: She connects well with the camera. Her feet look strange: I love that she's holding her shoes, but it would have been better if she not taken such a wide stance and if she had been on her tip-toes to give her some more tension in her body. Great lighting and really good full-length shot. |

The Ingénueby njsabsComment: This is great from about hips up. I love her face and the arch of her back. The dress is gorgeous as is her hair/makeup. I love the lighting. The problem with the image is the position of her legs and how that makes the dress pull around her knees. It also seems to detract from her overall presence in the image, which from the hips up is very stark. To me this image is about the dress and her face, but the shoes/legs distract me. If she were turned just slightly more toward the camera, this would be really great: she'd also fill up more of the image on the left, which would strengthen the image as well. |

Aliceby chromeydomeComment: The model is a little stiff, but I like the background and her styling. |

ADIDASby xtianComment: Love the focus and the angle. The trash can behind his calf is distracting; watch the background! The contrast in this image great. |

Finding lightby nico_blueComment: Love the high-key nature of this image, the blown-out background, the 'framing,' and his pose. The image might have been stronger if he had been off to the right side of the window frame (with more to look out into) and if the model had extended his neck slightly for more length/tension. Also, the image feels slightly crooked. |

Giselle by ErinKirstenComment: I like this shot except for her legs. They're awkwardly placed and make her body seem wider than it should. The pose is cat-like without the spring. That all said, she connects well with the camera and I like the tension in her left hand. She's well-styled and you used good light. |

The Subtle Silenceby MAKComment: This image is really powerful and sticks out to be because it is unusual. My initial thought for a good zen photo was a high-key, mostly monochromatic photo with one central focus. This image almost completely blows that conception out of the water (heh). I love it. The DOF could have been bigger and the blacks upped, but otherwise this is a really successful image. Great job. |
