Wow. The subject is really well-isolated through the RoT placement and against the background of the whitewater. The compression of a long focal length lens really makes it look like he's about to crash into the jagged rock in front of him.

Well-placed subject for RoT, along with fascinating background art. It's pretty busy, but the placement and lighting creates decent subject isolation. The left and bottom vignetting is too much for my taste... Still an effective response to the challenge.

I like the fall color palette' contrast with the dark branches of the tree trunk. It's placement and even its presence elevates this from verging on abstraction to a meaningful fall image. Cool.
