The low angle POV and longer focal length really works well for this shot. I'd be curious to see the result with a slightly larger aperture. Very nice overall effect!

Okay, maybe being a cat person is skewing my judgement, but this is my favorite for this theme. Love the evil look and the menacing claw. Doesn't hurt that it's so well done technically, either. Kudos.

I'm not a member so I can't vote on member challenges. Instead, I look through the entries for images that make me stop clicking on to the next one. I look for images I wish I could say I'd taken. This is one of those images....

Wow. It's the first one that's stopped me in this challenge. I like so much about it, but mostly, I like the congruence with the theme and the serenity of the moment. And... it evokes the senses. I hear the water lapping at the shore and feel the moisture in the air.
