Walkin' Wheelsby ShutterPugComment: had to give this an 8 simply because it tells a story rather than is just a cute pet pic. The angle and framing all add to the interest |

my inner childby klkitchensComment: The double exposure is well done and the composition shows a clear intent tend to use the technique to achieve a point. If you could have managed to get the inner child more centered I would have scored it highly - as it is the balance feels wrong so I have had to give it a 6 - sorry. I understand that getting this short of shot is difficult (doubt I could do it) but I tend to judge more on the overall impact of an image - this one had potential but didn't quite get there (for me - others will see it differently). |

What's Up?by essayComment: sorry had to give a 6. Everyone judges differently but for me the image demonstrates double exposure well but the double exposure doesn't actually enhance the impact of the image (to me). To me it says - "here is a really clean image of a flower and here it is upside down to show a technique"... and I think - "does doing that really make the photo better?" I know you are caught between a rock and a hard place... on this site some people tend to judge highly on meeting the challenge (hopefully they will score you highly to balance me) and you have met it well and some judge more on the overall impact. I lean a lot on the impact side - sorry it didn't do the impact (for me). If you could have managed to have something different about the 2 parts then that probably would have pushed it higher in my eyes.
NB that is just me - no criticism of technique (is well done) just a long winded comment how it struck me as an individual. |

The Eyes Have Itby kleskiComment: 6 from me. I think the intent was good, for me the eye/hand positioning with the thumb intruding on the eye didn't work. Doing this kind of shot is not easy I understand but in the end I tend to judge on how the image strikes me irrespective of the difficulty getting the shot and I think a slightly different placement of the eye would have pushed more of my buttons. That is just me though. |

You and Meby paynekjComment: Sorry had to give a 5 - technically all fine, no criticisms on that front but just didn't hit any of my aesthetic buttons. |

corridorby tnunComment: I thought this a good image, I liked the composition, contrasts and just the whole mood it created for me. I gave it 9 in the challenge, sorry it didn't do so well from that many others :( |

Waiting for Use for Decadesby rlewisComment: I didn't vote in that challenge and anyway my ratings are often the opposite of the mainstream so probably not much use to you but I like your image. I am no expert either so take this all with suitable doses of salt...
For me it has a sense of mood and generally good overall composition. I like the tonal range and narrow depth of field - they suit the composition and feel.
The only negatives I would raise are the chopped off (and therefore unresolved) bits of stuff in the bottom right foreground and mid right that are a little distracting (to me).
I would have rated it more than the ~4.7 and 97/133 you got - around 6-7 on my warped scale.
That is probably your downfall then... if I like it, many others won't :(
