There are three clear subjects of equal importance. The picture is in focus, and the lighting is decent.
However, this picture does not hold my interest very long. To me it is somewhat boring.

This is a lovely photograph with very nice colors and soft lighting.
There are clearly 3 elements, however, they are not all equal. The flower facing the camera clearly takes the most importance and even the title cannot reconcile that fact.
I am still giving this a 6, because I do like the photo

3 clear elements and I like your idea. The shadow glass is very nice.
I do think that the shadow line next to the fork should be removed. It sort of adds a fourth element to the picture and is distracting.

This is an interesting photo, and it is very well executed. My only concern is that the orange is merely the background color, and not very involved in the main subject. Still getting a good score from me though.

I love the textures here. My first impression was that it was a little too bright for me, with some blown highlights. But I think I actually kind of like it that way.

I really think this photograph needed to be in color. Possibly waiting until the car was moved would also give more emphasis on the picture on the wall.
Otherwise, this is a unique shot, and I especially like the cloud cover.

This looks really really good as a thumb! However, up close there appear to be some quality issues, especially around the eyes. Perhaps over sharpened? Unfortunately, that makes a big difference for me, scoring wise.
I do love the colors and the expression.

I like the humor in this image, and I love how they all have legs and arms.
However, it seems obvious to me that this was a fairly simple shot, so it cannot get one of the highest scores from me.

Inferno

One of the more interesting volcano shots. I love the colors and the millions of little dots of lava.
But I really really feel like the people should have been in sharper focus. Especially the two blurry ones on the left are very distracting. It is the people's silhouettes that make this photograph interesting and sets it apart from the other volcano shots, so the fact that they are not all in focus is a downer. For me, it makes the difference between giving you a 6 and an 8.
