Goose Pondby whiterookComment: The harsh sunlight, centered composition of the dog, and nearly cropped of head of the woman, all make me feel that this is more of a snapshot than a thoughtfully planned photograph. The woman is staring at the camera awkwardly and the dog is staring at something off screen, which both ensures that nothing interesting is happening within the frame for the viewer to look at, and rather the viewer wonders what is happening outside of it. If the dog was looking at and engaging the woman, and the woman was looking at and engaging the dog, this might have been different. The way it is, they are in complete disharmony and the viewer feels this. Even just cropping out the woman entirely would have made this a much more powerful photograph.
I am not trying to be critical in telling you this. Rather, I am trying to meaningfully explain my low vote (as so many people often call for) so that you may improve in the future. This photograph is sharp and mostly exposed properly, it just needs a more thoughtfully captured moment, to make it great. 4 |

City Of Angelsby 1m1AComment: Wow, the blimp almost makes this look surreal. I really like this. The exposure is perfect and the picture is sharp and yet so very smooth. 9 |

Evening Mistby bmatt17Comment: Lovely. This looks more like a painting than a photograph. I could definitely see this hanging on somebody's wall. I love the contrast between the warm sky and the cool fog, and the horses create the perfect added point of interest.
I just really connect with this. 10 from me |

Autumn Morning Cloudby BarronessComment: I wish this was a bit bigger, as this is a lovely landscape photograph. I like the wide perspective and how the trees curve. |

aby Dirt_DiverComment: Lovely portrait, as was your last one in the defining feature challenge. She really does have gorgeous eyes, and I just love that hat. My only dislike is the fuzzy thing (scarf?) she is wearing, I think it distracts the viewer a bit too much. |

Windy Country Roadby bassboneComment: I really like the mood created by the processing here and the way the road leads the eye through and into the picture. |

Flying Highby RamblinRComment: So much joy in this picture :-) It looks like the girl is taking off in flight to the moon and beyond. Wonderful moment. 8 |

That's Lifeby JulietNNComment: I really like this. It is very intriguing, with the different layers of the photograph. The eyes seem a bit overprocessed, and yet it is precisely that that draws me into the picture. |

Sophia's Obsessionby kvickreyComment: Darling picture, with lovely editing. I like the contrast of expressions of the girl and the pony. Pony looks a bit unsure of what to think of all this :-) |
