I think this image could be a little lighter. Maybe some more contrast to bring out those awesome feathers.
However, this is still a fantastic shot! A bird I have never seen before, and I love the symmetry of where they are looking. Its also really interesting that one bird's eyes is red, but the other bird's is yellow. Cool shot 7

This is fantastic in its simplicity. One of the few situations where the harsher lighting actually enhances the photograph. It really brings out the textures here.
I would have cloned or cropped out the stumpy thing on the left, if that is at all possible, as it is rather distracting.
