This is a fine example for a composition lesson: the framing to the Golden Mean, the contrast between warm and cold, soft and sharp, close and far, dark and light.
Perfect.

Sshhh...by PaulComment: I really like this photo but there is something that I can't quite figure about the background (walls, windows and floor). I guess that if there were a more contrasting elementt would have helped as there are only middle tones there.
The extreme placement of the subjects doesn't bother me.
