What did you do with the Anamorphic adapter/attachment that came with this lens? I've been looking for one myself. Since I think all of us here are using digital cameras, it should be noted that using an Anamorphic lens is a breeze for us. You simply edit the photos on the computer to the correct size they need to be displayed at. And what you wind up with are really wide images that were compressed horizontally, reproduced in CINEMATIC format!

Could you please post pictures of this lens with the mount removed. I'm working on doing something similar (precisely how I just found this page, and JOINED!). There are many lenses I want to use in modified form. The lens I'm looking at now has a 4" projector barrel. But I think mine (the one I want) is even longer than yours. So I would really like to see how you did it. Also, I just picked up a Elgeet 10" (254mm) f/4.5, which is relatively small by comparison. If in all of your adventures you've come across one of these, I'd like to know about it as well.
