Meets Challenge: 2 of 3. Just barely low key, for me. There's a lot of bright outdoors that take most of the focus.
Technical: 2 of 3. Composition is good, plenty of interesting things to keep the eyes busy, but I'm drawn to the tree in the upper window which is definitely not low key. And the parts that are low key, they have pretty obvious pixelation.
Emotion: 2 of 3. I want to go there. I want to see what else is in that room. I want to know who lived there. Good.

Meets Challenge: 0 of 3. Not low key. Way too much sky.
Technical: 1 of 3. Decent composition, but the sky way overpowers the shadows and details under the construction area. Especially being a low key challenge, I'd like to see some of those details.
Emotion: 1 of 3. What are you telling me in this photo? The angle intrigues me, but that's it.

Meets Challenge: 2 of 3. I'd like to see less fur, more highlighted edges. To me, part of low key is what's not there.
Technical: 2 of 3. Good composition, but the grey background/rock-things (especially the lower one) are distracting from the subject.
Emotion: 1 of 3. Just missing something. Kinda boring?

Technical: 1 of 3. The moire within the feather and the overblown whites and odd brownish area on the bottom right of the feather are distracting.
Emotion: 1 of 3. It's a neat picture, but it doesn't say anything to me.

This is a really nice photo, but I can't figure out how it fits with the contest topic "Straight". Other than what appears to be a contrail in the sky, there's not a straight thing in the picture. An otherwise lovely shot.
