I too, was one of you 10's; I could not agree with MM more. I am new to photography and I certainly do not have a technically trained eye. I am learning every day. However I do know what pleases the senses and this picture is absolutely astonishing! To date, bar none, this is my favorite DPC photo. I have returned to it time and time again and still cannot put a fix on exactly why the photo invokes such a strong reaction in me. Thanks for your effort.

I love this photo. Perfect light, perfect model, perfect adherence to the challenge. This is my first thought when I think of "drama"; how are children affected. I hope this carries a blue for you it should.
