Polka dot dress on a snowy dayby landon1013Comment: I am usually not a negative critic however, the pose in your photo is excessivley unflattering to the otherwise attractive model. Instead of alluring and eyecatching, I would expect a pose like this on CSI after just finding a haphazardly dumped body in the woods. Too many other distractions in the greenery, snow, dead trees behind. i've seen this woman used before and very well I might add but this seemed rushed and unthoughtful. Sorry, I hope this is taken in the spirit intended. |

Rain Dots Keep Falling....by CNovackComment: This picture would have been my favorite in the group except for two things. First the pluses...Superb model. The right age and shape with a great pose. Photo quality is perfect and focus is good.
My minor retractions...the sandal tweaked out from the foot draws too much attention and the heavily patterned umbrella is in my humble opinion much too busy for the head scarf and shirt. still a pretty nice capture. 7 |

Sweet Oliviaby TammsterComment: Nice top-down camera position. I really like the quality and range of grays presented in this capture. Refreshing smile and very fitting title. It's nice to see a subtle use of the "dots". Cool 8 |

Got Lots of Dots by ErikVComment: interesting interpretation of Polka Dots. I'm not sure it meets the challenge but I love the intense saturation of green, it works. 7 |

The Carnival Prizeby njsabsComment: nice capture. great idea but I feel left wondering what the rest of the story is. Although the photo in itself is good it makes me want to know more. Did a first boyfriend win the fish for her? Is she happy with her prize? It looks like a really interesting wall behind that could have been used more creatively...Still all in all a 7 in my humble opinion. |

A Hug for Baa Baaby freakin_hilariousComment: beautiful portrait. I really like the back lighting on the backdrop to soften the grays and define the fine toddler hair. The best of the bunch. |

For God so loved the world...by mojo0302Comment: totally love the idea but the class 8 chrome plated bolt and Rubber mallet are asynchronous with the setting. if you had reached a little more for realistic props this would push a 7 or 8 |

Matryoshka - Little Russian Nesting Doll(s) by CNovackComment: excellent photo, love B&W's and this is no exception. The little girl is so classically Russian in appearance it adds a nostalgic feel to the photo. good lighting. I would have gone even higher with a little shallower DOF. Nice 7 |
