Great image Richard, S curve definitely exists and is valid. Love the scene and processing. At least 8 on technical merit and difficulty. The S is not as pronounced as other entries but it DOES exist.

Bold reverse composition. Like me I think you tend not to photograph for the DPC masses but rather as a Wildlife photographer; only to record the beauty of the animal and the serenity of the moment. Such work provides everlasting achievement and an unforgettable sense of accomplishment, unlike set-up conveyor belt photography. I'd have voted an 8 at least. (Team TPL2 Image, sadly no vote)

Lots of space for sure. A dirty sensor (2x Dust bunnies) and grain have hurt the overall score. Cloned them and a little Topaz Labs DeNoise or Noise Ninja etc would have received a 7. Instead a 6.
